Principal, Dr. Nicole Smith
My name is Dr. Smith and I joined the Hanna family in October 2018. I have 18 years of service in education with experiences as a Middle School Assistant Principal at Commonwealth Charter Academy and as a Middle School Teacher in the Steelton-Highspire School District and the Harrisburg City School District.
I believe in the power of education and pursuit of life-long learning, which is why I have dedicated my career to educating not only myself, but others as well. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in coaching from Shippensburg University and a Master’s Degree in Teaching and Curriculum from Penn State University. I also have a Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Immaculata University.
I am committed to upholding Susquehanna Township School District’s mission of ensuring the success of every learner. It is an honor to serve this community and I look forward to working with each of you.
Assistant Principal, Ms. Jennifer Jenkins
It is with great pleasure that I am permitted to serve our learning community as the Assistant Principal of Susquehanna Township High School. With over 22 years of experience in education which includes teaching within various grade levels K-12, serving as an Elementary School and High School Assistant Principal, and serving as an Elementary School and High School Principal, I expect to bring a level of world class leadership to the High School. I earned a Principal certification in Educational Leadership K-12, Master of Education, and Bachelors of Elementary Education.
I look forward to creating collaborative relationships with the students, staff, and parents of this great community, which I have been a part of for many years. As a former graduate of Susquehanna Township High School, I am thrilled to be in a position to positively impact the lives of our students and teachers. It is my firm belief that the success of our students is built on the solid partnership with parents and the community. Every family in our school is important to creating a school community that will prepare our students to thrive in a global society.

My name is Keith Edmonds and I am thrilled to join the thriving Susquehanna Township community. For 27 years, I have devoted myself to ensuring that my students have received the best education I could possibly provide. This includes experiences at the Middle School and High School levels as an administrator, teacher and athletic coach. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Susquehanna University and my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Scranton.
I am excited about putting down new roots as an educational leader and of having the opportunity to cultivate and nurture a professional learning community that places student learning and positive relationship building at the forefront. I look forward to sharing my experiences with the Susquehanna Township Community and supporting the district vision of being “World Class. Every Day. In Every Way.”
